Gueule de Bois turns the morning after into a suspended, warm and enveloping moment: the quiet hour when the night still lingers on the skin, between suave woods, liqueur-like amber and a wisp of incense smoke.

A woody-amber extrait for memorable mornings after

The composition opens on the bite of black pepper and pink berries, softened by almond and a touch of cherry. At its heart, a rum accord with liqueur-like facets blends with cinnamon, resinous incense and fig. The warm, deep base unfolds sandalwood, guaiac wood and vetiver, warmed with vanilla, tobacco and a leathery facet. A comforting sillage that never overwhelms.

A French house founded in 2021, Versatile reinvents the codes of perfumery: vegan, unisex formulas made in France. This extrait de parfum is sprayed directly onto the skin, where its 25% concentration reveals its full depth over the hours.

Founded in January 2021 by Coralie Frébourg, a graduate of the École Supérieure du Parfum, Versatile Paris set out to shake up the codes of traditional perfumery: fewer clichés, more transparency. Its fragrances are created with the independent perfumery studio FLAIR and come in two gestures — the alcohol-free roll-on extrait, built on a base of almond and wheat plant oils, and the spray extrait, on organic wheat alcohol. Short, transparent formulas, always vegan, unisex and made in France.
