Akro (from the French "accro", meaning hooked) was born in 2018 from the meeting of two visions. Founder Anaïs Cresp was living in London's Ladbroke Grove, surrounded by intense urban smells. Rather than turning to classic flowers and fruits, she had a radical idea: to bottle those addictions. Her father, Olivier Cresp (master perfumer at Firmenich, creator of Angel for Mugler, Light Blue for D&G, Black Opium for YSL), turned that dream into reality.
