Atelier des Ors – French Haute Parfumerie Elevated by 24-Carat Gold

Atelier des Ors was founded in 2015 by Jean-Philippe Clermont, a passionate admirer of haute perfumery and the great perfumery of the 1920s–1930s. From the very beginning, he has collaborated with perfumer Marie Salamagne (DSM-Firmenich), who signs all the house's compositions. The brand is based in Grasse at the Villa Primerose, a historic 1886 building.

Gold is at the heart of the house's identity for two reasons. Symbolically, it represents the quest for perfection and eternity. Concretely, 24-carat gold flakes are incorporated into every bottle, applied by hand by master gilders. The seahorse — the brand's emblem and the French gold hallmark — unites both dimensions.
