BDK Parfums – David Benedek's Parisian Olfactory Library

David Benedek founded BDK Parfums in Paris in 2016 at the age of 26. The grandson of Romanian-Hungarian perfumers established on rue Saint-Honoré since 1959, he grew up surrounded by the great names of classical perfumery. Trained at the IFM and the Cinquième Sens school, he created a 100% made-in-France house, awarded by the Fragrance Foundation France in 2022 for Velvet Tonka.

BDK are the initials of the founder's surname: Benedek. David Benedek chose these initials to convey the image of a creative collective and studio rather than a personal brand. The house is also known as BDK Paris.

BDK Parfums offers four collections. The Collection Parisienne — timeless floral and woody perfumes. The Collection Matières — noble leather and musky perfumes including Gris Charnel and Velvet Tonka. The Collection Azur — Mediterranean hesperidic perfumes.
