Id, an eau de parfum by Mendittorosa (100 ml), takes its name from "Iddu", the dialect word Sicilians use for Stromboli.

A spiced wood, dark and volcanic

The top is brief and green, reduced to ravensara alone. The heart settles in quickly: iris, violet and jasmine form a restrained, dusty floral. The base does all the work — smoky birch, labdanum, Siam benzoin, Ceylon cinnamon, ambroxan, oud, precious woods, Indonesian patchouli and white musk layer into something dense and warm. Founded in Naples by Stefania Squeglia, the house placed in Id the energy of the active volcano off Sicily, where it locates its spiritual anchor. As the third part of the Trilogy, it can be worn alone or layered with Alfa and Omega.
