Bohoboco Perfume – Material duos from Warsaw

BOHOBOCO was founded by Michał Gilbert Lach, a Polish creator born in the 1980s in Żywiec, southern Poland. A hairdresser, make-up artist and then stylist, he moved to Warsaw in his late twenties and first launched a clothing brand there, before returning to his childhood dream: perfume. He remains the brand's creative director and signs every composition of the house.

BOHOBOCO is a Polish niche perfume house based in Warsaw. Born from a fashion label of the same name, it premiered its first composition, No. 1, in 2012, then launched the BOHOBOCO • Perfume collection in 2016. Its fragrances carry double names pairing two materials — Polish • Potatoes, Dark Vinyl • Musk — and are all unisex, in 50 ml bottles.

Three ways in, depending on taste: Wet Cherry • Liquor for a gourmand boozy cherry, Sea Salt • Caramel for a brighter salted-sweet take, Polish • Potatoes for a woody amber with character. BOHOBOCO covers a wide spectrum. The gourmands (Wet Cherry • Liquor, Sea Salt • Caramel, Coffee • White Flowers) and the ambers (Polish • Potatoes, Dark Vinyl • Musk) are the most characteristic of the house. Add to these the florals (Jasmine • White Leather, Olibanum • Gardenia), the woody (Yellow Rose • Incense) and the fruity (Mango Yuzu • Gasoline).

Yes, every BOHOBOCO creation is unisex. It is a stated position of the house, which presents its fragrances as a story of freedom where gender, orientation, skin colour or faith do not matter.
