Sensai Couleurs – Make-up with Koishimaru Silk

Sensai Couleurs: Japanese make-up built around silk

Koishimaru Silk, the signature of the house

Sensai, the Japanese house of the Kanebo group, formulates its make-up around Koishimaru Silk, an imperial silk of rare fineness. The brand sums up its Couleurs range in one line: to recreate the exquisite radiance of the finest of silks. That choice — light rather than coverage — is what sets its make-up apart from most Western houses.

Eyes: the 38 °C mascaras

The 38 °C mascaras are the best-known reference of the house, in several readings: Mascara 38 °C, Volume Sublime, Lash Lengthener. The eyelash base and the lash conditioner complete the ritual, alongside the liquid eyeliner, the eyebrow pencil and the eyeshadow palette.

Lips and cheeks

The Lipstick comes in fifteen shades and slides into a refillable case — the house built its whole lip range on the case-plus-refill system, including the Lasting Plump Lipstick. The Total Lip Gloss, the Lip Pencil and the Blooming Blush close the range.

Finding your shade

Every shaded reference shows its swatch on the product page, with the official house code — that code is what identifies the reference in store. For complexion, the Sensai Foundations range takes over. If you are looking for another approach to colour, Le Rouge Français offers a bio-tech line with plant pigments, found in our Make-up selection.
