Chambre52: perfume as travel narrative and sensory memory
A house born from a night in São Paulo
The story of Chambre52 begins during a stay by Nicolas Dewitte at a hotel in São Paulo, Brazil. He was assigned room 52. From that moment, a vision was born: each perfume as a cinematic scenario, a sensory journey between memory and revelation. With over 20 years of experience in luxury fragrance development, having lived in France, the Caribbean, Italy, Spain, Brazil and the United States, Nicolas Dewitte founded Chambre52 in Paris in 2024. The house debuted in November 2024 with six creations, presented at Printemps and Nose Paris. The fragrances are composed by renowned noses at IFF — Caroline Dumur, Nicolas Beaulieu and Domitille Michalon-Bertier — and the faceted flacons are designed by Jules Dinand, grandson of the legendary Pierre Dinand.
Six founding creations, a poetic and sensory universe
Chambre52's six founding creations cover a broad emotional spectrum. Tobacco Memories — saffron, tobacco, oakmoss — is a leather and smoky composition of remarkable depth. Contre ta Peau and Orencie explore floral and musky territories with intimate sensuality. Bois Flotté is a woody perfume with patchouli and sandalwood accords of refined elegance. Soleil Tonka blends sea spray and tonka bean in a luminous amber and hesperidic accord. Cuir à Corps completes the collection with a peppery, patchouli-led leather of great presence. All Chambre52 creations are unisex and made in France.
