Bergamot and floral notes quickly step aside for hyraceum — the rare animal essence known as the “African stone” — patchouli and earthy cypriol. In the base, balsamic benzoin, ambergris, iris butter, cedars and oud unfold a sumptuous, uncompromising trail.

Founded in 1923, the Parisian perfume house Jovoy experienced a period of neglect before being relaunched in 2010 by François Hénin, a globetrotter with a passion for exceptional raw materials. Under his leadership, Jovoy has become an essential reference in the world of contemporary niche perfumery, offering a collection of rare and precious fragrances.
