Matière Première was founded in 2019 in Paris by Aurélien Guichard, a fifth-generation perfumer of the Guichard family, one of the greatest dynasties of Grasse. His philosophy comes down to one word: the material, meaning the idea that each perfume should be designed around a single queen raw material, enhanced by the entire setting of the formula.
