How does this guide work?
You answer nine questions: who it is for, your budget, which families and materials appeal to you, what you would rather avoid, then a few questions about the presence you expect from a fragrance. We match your answers against our catalogue and suggest twelve fragrances, each showing what it has in common with your answers.
Do I need to know olfactory families or notes?
No. Both questions about materials can be skipped in one click if you would rather be guided, and the families are worded plainly. Answering the families alone is enough to get a selection.
How long does it take?
About two minutes. That is longer than a quick quiz, and deliberately so: the questions are mainly there to rule out what would not suit you.
Are the suggested fragrances in stock?
Yes. Out-of-stock items are excluded, and the price shown is that of the bottle, not of a travel size. We also limit the selection to two fragrances per house so it stays varied.
Do I need to leave my email address to see the results?
No. Recommendations appear immediately, with no account and no email address.
What if I am torn between several fragrances?
Come and smell them: nothing replaces trying. Our boutique is at 22 rue de la Clef in Lille, and our team also answers via the chat at the bottom of this page. Our discovery boxes are another way to test at home before choosing a bottle.
