Hellenist Paris was born in 2024 from the passion of Jean-David Jacoby, who fell in love with Greece at the age of 6 on a first family trip to Santorini, and who brings more than twenty years' experience in the luxury and fragrance industry. The house presents itself as a “temple of memories” — blending art and perfume to bring forgotten legends and heroes back to the stage, and to build a bridge between past and present.

Hellenist's signature scents

The Hellenist pantheon brings together Les bras de Morphée, a finalist at the 2025 Fragrance Foundation France Awards, Le chant d'Achille, À l'ombre d'Artémis, Les dieux aux bains and La Nuit des 300, all Eaux de Parfum available in both 100 ml and 15 ml. To take them travelling, the Kit Découverte « Les lumières » brings together three creations in 15 ml; the house also extends its world into scented candles, such as the Bougie figuier sacré.

The Hellenist olfactory signature: four perfumers for one pantheon

Each myth is entrusted to a nose. Alexandra Carlin signs Le chant d'Achille, a “chameleon” orange blossom laid on a bed of musks and lifted with immortelle; Suzy Le Helley composes À l'ombre d'Artémis, a fresh rose as if covered in dew, with woody nuances, and Les bras de Morphée, a powdery iris softened with vanilla and tonka bean; Pierre-Constantin Guéros imagines Les dieux aux bains, an aromatic freshness in which rosemary and juniper meet an aquatic facet; Maurice Roucel, a pioneer of magnolia in perfumery, finally orchestrates La Nuit des 300, between aldehydes, lavender and amber musks.

Hellenist at Soleil d'Or, a Lille perfumery since 1953

Founded in 1953 by Jeanne Muyllaert on the Grand'Place in Lille, Soleil d'Or is an independent perfumery handed down from generation to generation. Hubert Maes (third generation) made it a benchmark in niche perfumery; today, his daughters Victorine and Apolline Maes (fourth generation) carry on this exacting standard at 22 rue de la Clef, Lille (59800).
