GUEULE DE BOIS

Gueule de Bois was born from a simple idea: turning the morning after the party into a fragrance. Amélie Bourgeois (studio FLAIR) imagined a neo-sandalwood reworked into a heady rum — never overpowering.

Spices open the dance — black pepper, pink pepper, cinnamon — before Somali incense diffuses its resinous smoke. CO2-extracted Martinique rum unfolds its candied, liqueur-like yellow-fruit facets, while the base lines up warm, suave woods: Australian sandalwood, Haitian amyris, cedar, smoky guaiac wood, vetiver. Immortelle, honeyed tobacco and Madagascan black vanilla seal the trail.

An alcohol-free roll-on, concentrated at 30% in a base of sweet almond and wheat germ plant oils: the rollerball applies directly to the skin and slips into any pocket.
