Fleurs d'oranger was born of a memory of Serge Lutens: his 1968 arrival in Morocco, dazzled by women beating the orange trees to gather the white blossoms. From that vision came a great white floral, solar and sensual, that became a cult favourite within the Collection noire.

The great white of orange blossom

Orange blossom bursts out at once, wrapped in jasmine and tuberose — a heady, almost overpowering white bouquet. A rose draws the heart. The base, more carnal, blends nutmeg, cumin and musk over a hibiscus seed that softens the whole. A solar floral that the skin holds for a long time.

Serge Lutens, born in 1942 in Lille, is a French artist of many talents: photographer, filmmaker, fashion architect and perfume creator. After early work in hairstyling and make-up, he collaborated with prestigious magazines such as Vogue. In 1980 he began a defining collaboration with Shiseido, shaping the brand's visual identity and launching iconic fragrances such as "Féminité du bois" in 1992. In 2000 he founded his own perfume house, Serge Lutens, offering unique, avant-garde olfactory creations. Deeply influenced by Marrakech, where he acquired a residence in 1974, he draws major inspiration from the city for his fragrances. Today, the Serge Lutens house is recognised for its artistic approach and its commitment to originality and quality.
