Fleurs d'oranger

Fleurs d'oranger was born of a Moroccan memory of Serge Lutens: those women beating the orange trees to gather the white blossoms. It is, in his words, the scent of happiness — a pillar of the Collection noire.

Around a radiant orange blossom wind jasmine and tuberose, in a heady white bouquet. A rose forms its heart; the base, carnal, blends nutmeg, cumin and musk, softened with a hibiscus seed. A solar floral of unabashed sensuality.

Composed by Christopher Sheldrake under the direction of Serge Lutens, Fleurs d'oranger is worn in every season, from full sun to evenings.

Expert tip

The house

SERGE LUTENS

Serge Lutens, born in 1942 in Lille, is a French artist of many talents: photographer, filmmaker, fashion architect and perfume creator. After early work in hairstyling and make-up, he collaborated with prestigious magazines such as Vogue. In 1980 he began a defining collaboration with Shiseido, shaping the brand's visual identity and launching iconic fragrances such as "Féminité du bois" in 1992. In 2000 he founded his own perfume house, Serge Lutens, offering unique, avant-garde olfactory creations. Deeply influenced by Marrakech, where he acquired a residence in 1974, he draws major inspiration from the city for his fragrances. Today, the Serge Lutens house is recognised for its artistic approach and its commitment to originality and quality.
