A vanillic Oriental with extraordinary jasmines

Perfumer Camille Leguay imagines a journey to the East. At the top, plum and pear open onto a fruity indulgence. The heart sets Egyptian jasmine and jasmine sambac absolutes in dialogue with Turkish rose and davana. In the base, Somali incense, Madagascar vanilla, patchouli, labdanum and cypriol nagarmotha set a vanillic, suave and retro sillage.

The idea was to create a perfume on very vanillic oriental nuances with an addictive side given by gourmand fruity notes. The journey to the Orient is represented by the effect of Somali incense and myrrh. The Egyptian jasmine and Turkish rose absolutes pay tribute to the oriental flowers characteristic of this part of the world. The tobacco and liqueur notes come from davana and nagarmotha cypriol, which give the perfume its retro side. - Camille Leguay
