« Jean-David had told me about the painting 'The Bath of Artemis'; I wanted to transpose it into a fragrance. I worked a petalled, fresh rose, as if beaded with morning dew, to evoke the rosy skin of the goddess and her nymphs. Around it, a fig accord and woody, mossy nuances trace the forest — a carpet of green velvet that wraps and shelters them from the first rays of the sun, away from prying eyes. »

À l'ombre d'Artémis captures the mysterious aura of the goddess of the hunt and the moon. Its top notes — blackcurrant, bergamot and lily of the valley — reveal a green freshness, shaded like undergrowth at dusk.

The heart blossoms around fig tree, rose and ambrette, while oakmoss, sandalwood and vetiver draw a deep, distinguished base.

Signed by Suzy Le Helley, this eau de parfum plays with shadow and light for a vibrant trail, both wild and elegant.
