Description

Bois flotté de Chambre52 evokes a stroll on a wild beach, where noble woods, cedar and sandalwood, polished by time and waves, reveal their subtle aromas. Perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu captured this essence using saline notes of fleur de sel, enriched by deep woody accords.

The fresh and spicy opening, with touches of black pepper, nutmeg, and turmeric, introduces a transition into a green and lightly powdery heart of violet leaf. The intensely woody base, composed of cashmeran, guaiac wood, patchouli, vetiver, and geosmin, offers mineral depth and an elegant trail.

“Driftwood, a true invitation to travel, inspired this creation. I explored its hue, between light brown and silvery gray, using Coolwood, a molecule with damp woody facets, accompanied by nutmeg and turmeric leaves. For the texture, I translated the erosion of sea spray with salty notes, the polished side with Solarys, and the roughness with black pepper essence. Everything rests on an intensely woody base.”
