Bois Flotté, an eau de parfum by Chambre52 (100 ml), captures an invitation to escape — woody, mineral and soothing, like a wild beach polished by the waves.

A mineral woody

At the top, turmeric leaf, Coolwood and fleur de sel open on a saline, spicy freshness. The heart unfolds cashmeran, patchouli and cedar, woody and enveloping. The base sets vetiver, guaiac wood and sandalwood, for a mineral depth and an elegant sillage. A creation by Nicolas Beaulieu.

How to use

Spray on the pulse points — wrists, neck, nape —, preferably on moisturised skin to extend the lasting power.

Driftwood, a true invitation to travel, inspired this creation. I explored its hue, between light brown and silvery grey, using Coolwood, a molecule with damp woody facets, accompanied by nutmeg and turmeric leaves. For the texture, I translated the erosion of the sea spray with salty notes, the polished side with Solarys, and the roughness with black pepper essence.
