A dark, ashen rose

Composed by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, rosa antiqua opens on the fruity, slightly tangy brightness of blackcurrant. At the heart, Damask rose absolute, deep and velvety, blends with silky cashmeran. In the base, olive oil and birch essence lay down a woody, smoky and mineral sillage, evoking volcanic earth.

ānti wraps this rose-olive accord in an ashen sillage, evoking the volcano still smouldering at nightfall — a rose that knows the shadows.

I built my perfume around the duality between the scent of rose and the unprecedented olive oil accord. I wanted to render the fruity smell with the hint of bitterness of olive oil, which pairs very well with this woody, smoky rose. - Sidonie Lancesseur
