A woody, aromatic cocktail

Composed by perfumer Karine Vinchon Spehner, dukes carpet opens on Amalfi lemon, Ceylon cardamom, ginger and cedar leaf. At the heart, a photorealistic gin accord takes shape thanks to juniper CO2 extract, lit by tangy red berries. In the base, old waxed woods and cedar lay down a warm, chiaroscuro sillage.

The house's word

ānti evokes the mischievous barman of a London club, rinsing a glass of vermouth whose few drops seep, year after year, into the thick velvet carpet.

I really wanted to render the smell of a London Vermouth. For the gin facet, I chose a CO₂-extracted juniper berry, emblematic of this spirit. Like a mixologist, I dressed it with thyme, ginger, cardamom and clove, which brings that cocktail-style zing to the perfume. The slightly tangy touch of blackcurrant and green apple lifts the note even more. So that it can hold on the skin, amber-woody and cedar notes support the base.Karine Vinchon Spehner
