Crystal Saffron revolves around acentral raw material: L'saffron oil from Greece, chosen for its clarity, liveliness and exceptional quality. The fragrance seeks to reveal the “crystalline” character of this saffron — not in a gourmand vein, but in a refined and vibrant expression.

To enhance this material, the perfume uses amusk habanolidemodern that amplifies the contemporary aura of saffron, while theambroxanasserts its comfortable, addictive side. Finally, a note ofincense from Oman (Somalia)brings texture, depth and supports the projection of the saffron.

In its wake, Crystal Saffron embodies the aesthetic of Matiere Premiere: a minimalist composition that magnifies a choice material, while retaining modernity, a strong presence and luminous elegance.

Matiere Premiere is a French perfume house created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, whose vision is based on a simple idea: to reveal the power and uniqueness of a single natural material at a time.
The brand's fragrances are designed around exceptional ingredients—Madagascar vanilla, Australian sandalwood, oud, neroli, musk, and incense—chosen for their quality and ethical origin.

Each composition is minimalist, legible and modern, leaving the raw material the freedom to express itself fully.
The formulas are made from ingredients that are between 85% and 92% of natural origin, vegan and free of colorants, in an approach that respects nature and artisan producers.
