For this extract, immortelle absolute from Croatia — a guest ingredient, between flower and salt — deepens the rose: it makes it more robust and full-bodied, and draws it towards a dark, mineral side. Saffron and pepper berries keep its spicy brightness, while patchouli and ciste labdanum underline its woody depth.
