A velvety, gourmand tonka bean

Perfumer Alexandra Carlin composes a trilogy around the tonka bean. The top marries almond with orange blossom. The heart adorns the balsamic tonka with rose petals, for a velvet effect, and a honeyed tobacco absolute. In the base, milky amyris wood, vanilla and amber unfold an addictive, velvety and sensual sillage, like a gourmand breath from the Atlas mountains.

With a moderate sillage, Velvet Tonka can be worn day or night, in any season. It will appeal to lovers of Oriental gourmands and vanillic, amber bases. A few sprays are enough to reveal its velvet.
