The Collection Matières puts centre stage the noble raw materials that make the richness of BDK. Where the Collection Parisienne tells of moments, this one starts from the ingredient: a tonka bean, an oud, a vanilla, a leather — and lets the material dictate the composition. A style guided by the work of craftspeople, faithful to the spirit of the Parisian studio at the Palais-Royal.
The perfumes in the line
Velvet Tonka is its signature: a woody vanilla of remarkable sophistication. Oud Abramad explores oud in all its depth. To these are added Tubéreuse Impériale, Vanille Caviar, Crème de Cuir and Wood Jasmin, along with the La Découverte Matières set to explore the line.

Founded in 1953 by Jeanne Muyllaert on the Grand'Place in Lille, Soleil d'Or is an independent perfumery passed down through the generations.
