Perfumer Marie Salamagne wanted to work with a wood that had "lived in," patinated by time and smoke. The opening is spicy, blending nutmeg with precious woods. The heart unfolds its full power with notes of guaiac wood and styrax, reminiscent of the smoky character of an Islay whisky aged in oak barrels. In the base, tobacco absolute and Java cedar recreate the addictive scent of a freshly opened cigar box.
