Created to celebrate the House's move into the eponymous 1886 villa in Grasse, this fragrance is a vibrant tribute to the origins of perfumery and to timeless elegance. It embodies the nobility of the glover-perfumer, a gesture of absolute refinement.

A duel of noble materials

Perfumer Marie Salamagne orchestrated a contrasted encounter between two Grasse icons. On one side, an opulent, petal-laden Centifolia rose, “freshly picked”. On the other, a refined leather, dark and velvety. The opening, surprising, is marked by the spicy freshness of cardamom, pear and pink pepper. The floral, powdery heart of iris and ambrette softens the power of the leathery base, heightened by musk and amberwood — while flecks of 24-carat gold whirl through this precious nectar.

For this new creation, I worked around two iconic materials of the Grasse olfactory landscape: rose and leather. They celebrate the magnificence of a unique heritage.

Based in Grasse, the historic cradle of perfumery, the brand combines heritage, know-how and a distinctive French touch to create sophisticated and sensual perfumes. Each fragrance is designed as a work of art, integrating fragments of 24-carat gold leaf, symbolizing a quest for the absolute and offering a unique olfactory experience.
