Saffron opens the composition in full incandescence, surrounded by cinnamon, pink pepper and nutmeg, which mandarin lightens. The heart thickens with resins — labdanum and benzoin lay down their balsamic side, tobacco its dry warmth, lily of the valley an unexpected floral breath. The base sets down precious woods, leathery and mossy notes, held by amber, musk and tonka bean: a warm, magnetic trail, at once comforting and mysterious.
