Athanor

Athanor is an extrait de parfum from the Talismans Extreme collection, composed by perfumer Luca Maffei to an olfactory vision by Stefania Squeglia, after two years of work. The athanor is the alchemists' furnace, the crucible in which metals meet and transform under slow, steady heat.

The top pairs a sulphur accord with blackcurrant and saffron. The heart brings together iris, cypriol and a smoky incense accord. The base closes on cashmeran, guaiac wood, Java vetiver and black amber, for a woody, mineral and smoky trail. The formula contains 35% concentrate.

Founded in 2012 by Stefania Squeglia, Mendittorosa is an Italian perfume house that creates limited-edition artisanal perfume extracts. Each fragrance is designed as a “prayer for the skin,” using natural ingredients and bottles handcrafted by Italian artists. The brand prides itself on being free of dyes, BHA, BHT, as well as PBA and PVC, reflecting a commitment to purity and authenticity.
