A gourmand, almondy tonka bean

Composed by perfumer Céline Perdriel, Tonka Kumaru opens on the almondy accents of tonka, lifted by bergamot and cardamom. At the heart, roasted barley and hay absolute underline its dry, warm nuances, while cedar leaf brings structure and depth. In the base, roasted tonka bean unfolds fully, magnified by Madagascar vanilla, amber and musks.

Atelier Materi envisions Tonka Kumaru as an olfactory madeleine — the memory of schoolchildren's Cléopâtre glue, reimagined as a contemporary object of desire.
