A resinous, spicy amber

Composed by perfumer Céline Perdriel, Ambre Papier opens on a spicy freshness of Madagascar black pepper, allspice and Italian red mandarin. At the heart, saffron unfurls an almost electric leathery warmth, supported by jasmine, myrrh and maté. In the base, Siam benzoin reveals its vanillic, balsamic facets, deepened by Haitian vetiver and tonka bean.

Atelier Materi imagines Ambre Papier as a reinterpretation of Papier d'Arménie, the tradition of burning benzoin resin to scent interiors — a tribute to heritage and the memory of materials.
