Richwood

Richwood, an extrait de parfum from the 17/17 Stone Label collection, was born of an encounter: travelling through Southeast Asia, Sergio Momo came across an ancient statue of the Buddha carved from sandalwood — a sacred wood symbolising purity and divinity, said to repel negative forces. Capturing the essence of that moment became Richwood's founding challenge.

Primarily woody, Richwood also unfolds floral and amber facets evocative of that jungle setting: the fruity opening of bergamot, blackcurrant buds, grapefruit and mandarin peel meets a heart of geranium leaves and rose absolute, before a serene base of amber, coumarin, cistus, labdanum, musk, patchouli and vanilla. A Kalahari pietersite stone, embedded in the flacon, mirrors the protective virtues of the sandalwood venerated in Buddhism.
