Daymon

Daymon, an eau de parfum by Mendittorosa (100 ml), is named after the companion spirit — the one that walks beside you without speaking, guides without constraining.

A powdery wood, soft and enveloping

The top is green and floral: earthy angelica roots, Tunisian neroli, Indian jasmine. The heart holds an Italian iris at once waxy and dusty, softened by tonka bean. The base settles into comfort with a Habanolide musk, New Caledonian sandalwood, a resinoid, Siam benzoin and ambroxan — a discreet trail that rests on the skin rather than announcing itself. Created by Luca Maffei, after two years of work in Milan.

Founded in Naples by Stefania Squeglia, the house conceived Daymon as a separate project in support of animal welfare, alongside the Italian organisation LAV. The caps vary from bottle to bottle: each reveals a different creature.

Luca Maffei

Founded in 2012 by Stefania Squeglia, Mendittorosa is an Italian perfume house that creates limited-edition artisanal perfume extracts. Each fragrance is designed as a “prayer for the skin,” using natural ingredients and bottles handcrafted by Italian artists. The brand prides itself on being free of dyes, BHA, BHT, as well as PBA and PVC, reflecting a commitment to purity and authenticity.
