"Today, Guilin is a large city in southern China, growing at the same pace as the buildings. In the past, however, the only visible heights were its astonishing granite cliffs. Osmanthus was already cultivated there 2,500 years ago. Its fragrance still fills the valley, while the bamboo raft glides on the Li." [travel notes]

Among the many varieties of this small evergreen similar to the olive tree we have chosen the most fragile and the most fragrant. Osmanthus Absolute is our tribute to the ancient Chinese culture. In spring and autumn, the Li River Valley is colored with white, red, orange flowers and dark red fruits resembling olives.

This formula, dominated by a tender hint of peach, revives the dream of the ancient Orient, reinterpreted according to today's taste. Around the Osmanthus flower, Jasmine Sambac, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Tolu Balsam and Cistus Labdanum create the olfactory enigma: do perfume and the eternal have something in common?
