Absolue d'Osmanthe by Perris Monte Carlo (50 and 100 ml) pays tribute to osmanthus, cultivated for 2,500 years in the Li river valley of southern China. A fruity floral eau de parfum from the Black Collection, dominated by a tender note of peach.

Osmanthus, plum and pink pepper open the composition on a fruity, apricot note. The heart blends jasmine sambac, sandalwood and rose, before an enigmatic base of castoreum, labdanum, vanilla, Tolu balsam, woods and amber.

Expert tip

A fruity, balsamic floral, it comes fully into its own in autumn and winter, when cooler air reveals its depth. Spray on the neck and wrists. Keep your bottle away from light and heat to preserve the fragrance.
