Perris Monte Carlo was founded in 2011 in Monaco by Gian Luca Perris, second-generation heir to a perfumer family from Grasse. Who is Gian Luca Perris?

Gian Luca Perris is the founder, Creative Director and nose of Perris Monte Carlo. He is from the 2nd generation of the Perris family — his father Michele Perris founded Perris Group in 1981, which became a global name in cosmetics and perfumes. Born in Rome, Gian Luca joined the family business after studying economics. In 2011, he created Perris Monte Carlo in Monaco to "return to the heart of perfumery" — focus on the perfume itself, noble raw materials, traditional extraction methods, away from mass marketing.

What is the difference between the Gold Collection and the Black Collection?

The Gold Collection — the house's first 4 perfumes, inspired by the Middle East, gold-nuanced flacons: Oud Impérial, Rose de Taïf, Ambre Gris, Musk Extrême.
