Balsamir by Perris Monte Carlo (100 ml) is a hymn to noble resins: the sixth chapter of the Gold Collection, this amber-oriental eau de parfum celebrates Somali myrrh and precious balsams in a deep, enveloping composition.

Somali myrrh, dense and lightly smoky, opens on mandarin and pink pepper. The heart reveals opoponax, cistus labdanum and davana, before a woody-balsamic base of Virginia cedar, Tolù balsam, fir balsam and tonka bean.

Expert tip

Resolutely autumnal and wintry, Balsamir reveals its full breadth on warm skin; one or two sprays are enough to set its trail for the day. Keep your bottle away from light and heat to preserve the fragrance.
