The story of VERY BAD RICE SPRAY

With Very Bad Rice, Versatile takes a one-way trip to tropical Asia: an exclusive creation in spray format, imagined by Ambre Bouchard, a young perfumer at studio FLAIR.

The fruity opening blends bergamot with milky peach and passion fruit. The heart unfolds its mango sticky rice: a creamy toasted rice accord, juicy mango, melon, and the powdery facet of iris and violet evoking ube, the purple taro of Instagram-worthy lattes. In the base, a piña colada-style milky accord curls around coconut, sandalwood, cedar and a hint of leathery saffron.

Solar, round, sweet and juicy: the scent of the sun warming your skin while you kick back and relax.

Main notes: toasted rice, mango, ube, coconut, sandalwood, milky accord.

Concentration: Extrait de parfum 25% – 30 ml spray, organic wheat alcohol.

Vegan, unisex and made in France.

Founded in January 2021 by Coralie Frébourg, a graduate of the École Supérieure du Parfum, Versatile Paris set out to shake up the codes of traditional perfumery: fewer clichés, more transparency. Its fragrances are created with the independent perfumery studio FLAIR and come in two gestures — the alcohol-free roll-on extrait, built on a base of almond and wheat plant oils, and the spray extrait, on organic wheat alcohol. Short, transparent formulas, always vegan, unisex and made in France.
