Mandarin and bergamot open on a clear sparkle, soon joined by wild immortelle, warm and saline, spiked with black pepper and rounded by jasmine. Amber, sandalwood and a touch of moss compose a sun-drenched woody base, like the memory of skin warmed by the sun. Created by Annick Goutal, this enveloping trail crosses the decades without ageing a day.

Expert tip

A cult favourite among immortelle lovers, Sables reveals itself fully from late summer into autumn. Two sprays are enough: it is a skin scent with a slow radiance, addictive on warm fabrics like wool or linen. Store away from light and temperature changes.
