The story of L'Arbre de la Connaissance

White and black, good and evil, wisdom and madness, sun and night… Since the dawn of time, the fig tree has revealed its magical, luminous and magnetic powers. Between its astonishing green freshness and its sunny sensuality, where does the truth lie? Doubtless in the bliss of thinking of nothing at all — letting yourself slip gradually into absolute serenity, savouring the present moment right under the sun.

A free interpretation of the strangler fig — the famous tree whose roots enfold the temples of Cambodia — the composition offers the sap, the wood and the leaves before the fruit: green and citrus notes at the top, a heart of black fig, then a base of fig tree, creamy sandalwood and patchouli with facets of mushrooms and very ripe apples.

Created by Marc Fanton d'Andon (Robertet), L'Arbre de la Connaissance — a nod to the Bodhi tree beneath which the Buddha attained enlightenment — leads each of us to discover our true desires, in spring and summer. Made in France.
