Talento, an extrait de parfum by Mendittorosa (100 ml), tells of a fragile rose bush saved by mint planted at its feet.

A green floral, aldehydic and mineral

The opening is icy: a mint leaf and aldehyde C12 MNA, whose metallic glint surrounds the rosebud like so many protective thorns. The heart opens the flower without ever making it opulent — rose oxide, rose infusion and geranium compose a green, peppery, almost aloof rose. The base returns it to the earth with Indonesian patchouli, oakmoss and cedar. Created by Amélie Bourgeois and Camille Chemardin.

Founded in Naples by Stefania Squeglia, the house entrusted the Talento cap to Alessandro Reggioli, who sculpted it as an abstract rose in raku ceramic; a Neapolitan tapestry tassel falls from the neck.
