Global Anti-Aging Care, Nescens hand cream (40 ml): provides lasting hydration, restores firmness and density and corrects the pigmentation spots of an over-exposed tissue.

The Global Anti-Aging Care is intended for the most over-exposed tissue of the body. The hands endure cold, water, detergents and sun without the protection the face receives — and show it sooner.

The formula works on five fronts: the phytosterols, including ecdysterone, stimulate protein renewal and restore firmness and density; niacinamide and Opuntia ficus-indica stem extract strengthen the barrier function; high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate and glycerin provide lasting hydration; alpha-arbutin, Crocus chrysanthus bulb extract and ascorbyl phosphate correct spots; retinyl palmitate, tocopherol and carnosine protect against free radicals.

A mineral filter completes the UV protection. The skin of the hands gains in comfort, in density and in evenness of tone. For women and men alike.

Nescens was born in Switzerland out of Professor Jacques Proust's research into the biology of ageing, the skincare extension of the centre for the prevention of ageing he founded in Genolier. Application tips

Morning and evening, on clean, dry hands: apply using upward smoothing movements, from the wrists to the fingertips.

Expert advice: reapply after every hand wash, with light tapping movements to help absorption — on this area it is frequency, more than quantity, that delivers the result. Do not forget the back of the hand and the knuckles, where spots settle. Keep the tube closed, away from direct light and temperature variations.
