Carnal Blends brings together Side Effect, Atomic Rose, Narcotic Delight, Cant Get Enough, Psychedelic Love, High Frequency, Magnetic Blend 7 and Atomic Rose Hair Perfume — signatures with provocative names (Narcotic Delight, Psychedelic Love, Cant Get Enough) that unapologetically embrace their sensual angle.

Hedione, the signature molecule of Carnal Blends

The molecule hedione (methyl dihydrojasmonate) was synthesised in 1962 at Firmenich and recreates the airiest facets of jasmine. Several neuroscientific studies (notably Wedekind and Hummel, 2010) have suggested that it activates areas of the brain involved in social perception. Initio uses it in a deliberate overdose, which gives Carnal Blends creations their olfactory character — diffusive trails with an attractive effect.
