The spirit of the line

Acqua Originale follows a simple principle, readable from the name: two materials announced, and nothing else to guess. The construction stays transparent, closer to a fresh eau de parfum than to the dense trail of the house classics. It is a side entrance into the Creed world, for anyone who finds Aventus too expected.

The fragrances in the line

Two references make it up here. Iris Tubéreuse opens on apricot and peach, settles into tuberose and ylang-ylang, and falls back on a base of powdery iris and vanilla. Vétiver Géranium takes the opposite path: bergamot and lemon on top, geranium and rose at the heart, vetiver, patchouli and ambergris in the base.

Who wears it, and when?

Both are unisex and suit spring and summer daytime best. Iris Tubéreuse will please anyone drawn to creamy florals; Vétiver Géranium those who prefer vetiver and green accords.
