The Powder Brush, La Mer's makeup brush: dense and rounded, set with synthetic bristles, it diffuses loose powder into an even veil and sets makeup without weighing it down.

The Powder Brush does the opposite of a foundation brush: it does not push the formula, it lays it down. Its rounded, very dense head picks up little and diffuses a lot — enough to set a veil of loose powder where a thinner brush would leave deposits.

The synthetic bristles, supple all the way to the tip, glide over fresh makeup without disturbing it. The domed shape allows flat work over large areas, or work on the edge to outline the side of the nose and the eye contour.

It has two moments: on its own, for a clean matte complexion in one gesture; and at the end of the routine, to set foundation and take away shine without thickening the makeup.

Application tips

Pick up the powder in small touches, tap the brush to shed the excess, then apply from the inside of the face outwards in downward strokes, following the direction of the down. Work with light pressure on the forehead, the sides of the nose and the chin, where shine returns first.

Expert tip: keep this brush for powder only and use a separate one for fluid textures — mixing the two loads the head and muddies the finish. Wash it once a week in lukewarm water with a mild soap, ferrule pointing down, rinse until the water runs clear, reshape the dome and leave it to dry flat on a towel.

Returns: you have 14 days to notify us of a return. Only perfumes and cosmetics that are still sealed can be accepted, for hygiene reasons (article L221-28). The return costs €8 via Colissimo (from €25 via FedEx), deducted from your refund; you generate your label online from Return my order.
