The Broad Spectrum SPF 50 UV Protecting Fluid answers a simple need: a daily SPF 50 discreet enough to slip into a routine that is already in place. Its lightweight lotion texture spreads without resistance and disappears quickly, with no mask effect and no shine.

The formula pairs a broad-spectrum filter system — avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, oxybenzone — with Miracle Broth™, the sea-sourced ferment behind every treatment in the house. Skin is defended against everyday exposure to UV rays, which helps prevent future discolouration, while receiving the renewing energy that is unique to La Mer.

Wear it on its own, over your moisturiser, or as a base under makeup: foundation holds without patching. A closing step in the morning routine, to be reapplied as soon as exposure continues.

How to apply

Apply a pea-sized amount into the palm of the hand. Using fingertips, apply all over the face and neck, over your moisturiser or under makeup.

Expert tip: make it the last step of your morning routine, once serum and cream have absorbed, and wait a minute before foundation. Reapply every two hours during prolonged exposure, and after swimming or towelling. Avoid the immediate eye contour and keep the product away from heat and direct light.
