The hesperidic family is the historic heart of European perfumery, since the first eaux de cologne of the 17th-18th centuries (Eau de Cologne Originale by Jean-Marie Farina, 1709). It brings together perfumes whose central accord is built around citrus — bergamot, lemon, mandarin, grapefruit, neroli, petitgrain, as well as Mediterranean light aromatics.
