The Collection Parisienne is the founding line of BDK, the Parisian perfume studio of the Palais-Royal. This is where David Benedek Kertész unfolds what makes the signature of the house: fragrances carried by narrative, echoing the world of words and telling of moments — an evening that stretches out, an address, an intimacy.
The perfumes in the line
Impadia is the most sought-after reference of the house at Soleil d'Or. Gris Charnel, a powdery musk of rare sensuality, launched BDK's international reputation and also exists as an extrait. To these are added Rouge Smoking, 312 Saint-Honoré which carries the address of the Paris boutique, Pas ce Soir, Bouquet de Hongrie and Nuit de Sable. Founded in 1953 by Jeanne Muyllaert on the Grand'Place in Lille, Soleil d'Or is an independent perfumery passed down through the generations. Hubert Maës (third generation) made it a niche perfumery reference; today his daughters Victorine and Apolline Maës (fourth generation) uphold that standard at 22 rue de la Clef, Lille (59800).
