Caron was founded in 1904 in Paris by Ernest Daltroff, self-taught perfumer and visionary entrepreneur. The maison crossed the entire 20th century with founding signatures: Tabac Blond (1919) — first ambery-leather perfume designed for emancipated women — then Pour Un Homme de Caron (1934), historic icon of men's perfumery still produced today. A French heritage that places Caron among the great houses of haute parfumerie.
