In difficult moments, they appear as an antidote to suffering and fear, as if they possessed the mysterious knowledge of healing. Patience and empathy radiate from their gracious hearts. From the morning they immerse themselves in their magical rituals conjuring up enigmatic formulas. They lean over a mysterious mixture, and then, like shamans, rub the patient's body with a soothing balm. The air is saturated with aromatic geranium, which, like a fragrant treasure, exudes magical, herbal and floral fragrances and brings unearthly relief.

When I was ill, both grandmothers always took care of me, engaging in actions so neglected today - old methods of treatment. They had a divine touch of healing within them that made me feel safe despite my ailments. In such moments, all fear and worries, as if by a wave of a magic wand, would disappear. Healing medicine composed by them gave off a scent that permeated all nooks and crannies of the house. I will never forget the smell of the geraniums I breathed in full chest.
