There are several olfactory families in perfumery, each with its own characteristics and nuances.
WOODY
Woody fragrances are characterized as elegant, warm, sensual and very popular in perfumery. The different types of wood used are cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, cypriol, cypress, birch, pine or balsam fir.

Smoky fragrances evoke the smell of smoke, fire or burnt wood. They are often composed of notes of incense, cade, birch, oud or tobacco.
