Poivre Imperial by Caron: Its Fragrance
The inspiration for this fragrance comes from a mythical perfume of the house of Caron, Poivre, launched in 1954. At the time, this fragrance made a lasting impression with its original name and unique composition, dominated by spice. It was an immediate success, making pepper an essential ingredient in the Caron palette.
A multifaceted, trail, Poivre Impérial blows hot and cold with delight. It is built on two opposite ingredients, totally unexpected : Pepper and Lotus flower.
Warmed by a note of saffron, a duo of pepper (black pepper and Sichuan) is galvanized by incense. This sacred resin underlines its spiciness and gives it some amount. A departure of character! Behind this burst of spices, the floral heart opens like the corollas of the lotus flower. The Turkish rose, from a fair trade certified For Life with jasmine from India draw the petals of a lotus more real than nature. A few aquatic notes, and the flower seems to float on water.
This Imperial pepper is a surprise of delicacy.
