We are located in time in the heart of the Roaring Twenties and I decided to spend a night in a famous luxurious palace in Cannes, southern France, to discover during one night a world of lust and party. With a simple hand luggage and a fringed dress, I descended from my convertible Ford and I head to the marble steps, decorated with a red carpet. A young man opens the door, and immediately I savor a delicious lavender smell that wafts the huge reception room and also reminds me the typical lavender fields of the region. At the counter, they deliver me the key to my room and I plunge into this prestigious atmosphere and elegance with notes of thyme oil and nutmeg.

A woman accompanying me to my suite, I sit and I head into the living room where adorns a beautiful bouquet of lavender on an oak table. Night falls gently and being alone, I wanted to watch the sunset with a view of the sea. So I leaned gently to my balcony and finds that a gardener geranium and vetiver is installed to it ... I usually prepare myself to go to a party and spend an unbridled night, dancing the Charleston until dawn with a stranger on carefree charming notes of patchouli, which mixes with the crowd tonka and benzoin resinoid with again, this lavender remains anchored in my memory as Les Années Folles of La Parfumerie Moderne
